Mater Dei (Calif.) High School wide receiver Osiris St. Brown joins older brother Equanimeous, now a junior wideout for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, in the college ranks. St. Brown finally signed the dotted line on his Stanford Cardinal letter of intent on Wednesday.
The four-star pass-catcher chose Stanford over the Irish in early August. Osiris also held offers from a large majority of the remaining Pac-12 schools as well as Boise State, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland, Miami (FL), Michigan, Michigan State, Northwestern, Texas Tech and Vanderbilt.
With the nation’s 21st-overall receiver in tow, the Stanford offense gains another possession receiver with a solid pair of reliable hands. If Osiris’ younger brother, 2018 wideout Amon-Ra, chooses Stanford within the next year, these two brothers could combine to the next great familial tandem in college football.
From: “4-star wide receiver Osiris St. Brown commits to Stanford”
“He's a big, technically proficient wideout with great body control and good releases off the line. St. Brown plays outside the numbers, where he excels at double moves, tracks the ball well, and has solid top end speed. St. Brown's skillset is exactly what you're looking for in an outside receiver, and picking up a big target for top-tier QB recruit Davis Mills was certainly a point of emphasis for the Stanford coaching staff”
