Need UNC
to hit some shots. A 32-pt 1st half wins me 2 bets, including a parlay.
So far, so good. At 22 points with 9+ remaining.
Not too worried about Cardinal winning.
Yes, you can bet on the women’s NCAA.

Yippee!
With 2:30 left the Tarheelettes cover.
Now I can go back to rooting for Stanford to crush them like a bug, which seems inevitable. UNC physically matches up with the Cardinal but seem to have no idea how to play basketball. They get steals with their harassing defense and a lot of 2nd-chance points off their rebounding ability, but beyond that they seem pretty clueless.

Hmmm...
The crushing may have to wait. Tied at 49.
NC hitting the boards, making hustle plays, Stanford missing shots.

This game is too close for comfort
Stanford can’t handle physical play, and the Ogwumikes are getting frustrated.

Teams have reversed play in the halves
Now Stanford is putting up ridiculous shots, no offensive flow.
Nneka is back in — 3 fouls or not — because without her there is no offense.

Well, it appears FTs are saving us
But the Ogwumikes are racking up the fouls, with Chiney getting her fourth with five minutes left.

A little D helping too
Need some separation. This is nerve-wracking.

That last FG by UNC was atrocious, though
Thankfully Stanford is rebounding. Roz G-O was right — the story of the tournament so far for Stanford is go to Nneka low in the post when all else fails.
And ugh, I’m going to write something up on the Capital One Cup here this week. Fishy stuff going on with that.

Kokenis not having her best game
Hasn’t taken a decent looking shot all game and her D is sub-par.
Nobody else not named Ogwumike doing much either.
Who will step up? Anybody? Bueller? Bueller?

Oof. Bad play.
Pohlen heaves an airball.
Up 2 with 1:17 but NC has possession.

You were right, C&O;
Did anyone not named Ogwumike show up offensively tonight? It’s been terrible.

Maybe Pederson
I honestly don’t remember anyone else making more than one basket.

Ogwumike!
The sisters save our bacon, helped by NC ineptitude.
~ 16 secs. left and up 4 with Pohlen shooting 1-and-1.

Interesting win
Stanford will need to improve by leaps and bounds to play against Gonzaga and Vandersloot.

Home game for them
Will be a challenge, that’s for sure.
