Around SBN: The Sad Story of the Sacramento Kings

Stanford has made it back to the postseason! The 32-team NIT Tournament has chosen Stanford as a participant. The Cardinal takes on Cleveland State at Maples this Tuesday, March 13, at 8PM. The game will be televised on ESPN2. The winner will take on either Ole Miss (in Mississippi) or Illinois State.

The NIT Tournament is notable because it features four Pac-12 teams, including #1 Washington, #3 Oregon, and #1 Arizona (in the same part of the bracket as Stanford).

A little surprised they made the NIT, but they did beat 3 teams that made the NCAA and nearly defeated a #1 seed, which it more than a lot of teams can say.

Poor Buffs

They weren’t just wins. They were total blowouts.

Not surprised Stanford got in, but surprised the Cardinal are hosting a game. I think I’ll probably go.
