I felt bad for the sisters and the team
C&R said something along the lines that they weren’t despondent, but rather sullen. That’s good, I think. They knew what they had to do, and they had fun while trying to do it, and that’s the important part. It seems like they were in good-spirits (or at least as good as could be expected) despite the loss. BTW, if any of you all follow Nneka or Chiney on Twitter, they were really gracious to their fans last night after the game. There’s a video by Stanford Athletics of some members of the team talking to fans after the game that is really cool.
As far as baseball, I read that it was the first time since 1993 that Stanford’s been swept by the Wildcats. Not good to lose four of the past five as the number two team in the nation.
Oh, and I think you meant to say women’s water polo team there, Scott.
