Stanford Cardinal at Colorado Buffaloes: McCaffrey, Cardinal Steamroll Colorado 42-10

The Stanford Cardinal came into Boulder with one thing on their mind: make this a statement win. They succeeded with a 42-10 victory.

Stanford dominated in all facets of the game, and were led by the dynamic play of Super Sophomore Christian McCaffrey who is forcing his way into the Heisman Trophy conversation.

McCaffrey had another stellar day with 147 yards on the ground, and throwing for a TD to Austin Hooper to seal the 42-10 victory for the Cardinal.

Kevin Hogan had another solid day under center going 17-23 with 2 TDs. Hogan had control of the line of scrimmage, and made sure that the Cardinal were always moving the chains.

Stanford was phenomenal on the offensive side of the ball as they dominated the time of possession with a 38:01 to 21:59 advantage, and accrued 472 yards of total offense.

Stanford looked a little soft on the defensive side to start out the game, as the defensive secondary were giving too much room for Colorado QB Sefo Liufau to operate. It took a few adjustments, and the pressure up front for the Cardinal to settle in on the defensive side of the ball and force Colorado to throw in the "White Flag" early in the 2nd half. In the end, the Cardinal held the Buffaloes to only 231 yards of offense, and made the rest of the nation take notice.

Stanford is now 7-0 in conference play, and with an Oregon loss, will clinch the PAC 12 North title.
