Early Tuesday morning, California Golden Blogs came out with an article announcing Nygel Edmonds plans to flip from Stanford to Cal. At first, I thought it was just some jest, but then I looked into it and apparently Edmonds secretly changed his Twitter bio. Now our friends at Cal Golden Blogs and Rivals have confirmed the flip.
Edmonds was one of Stanford’s first commits of the 2016 class so it is surprising that he would be decommitting in this way. With the commitment now final Stanford's class is back down to 18 recruits. It is certainly a tough loss for Stanford, coach Akina was very high on Edmonds. Wish him the best of luck in all of his endeavors.
