Stanford Basketball With 4th Toughest Schedule

The Cardinal have exceeded expectations in what was supposed to be a down year. This is especially true given the loss of two key players to injury for the season (Reid Travis and Robert Cartwright).

Currently locked in a four-way tie for 3rd in the Pac-12, Stanford has gotten key wins against Utah, Oregon State, and Cal while hanging tough in losses to SMU and Villanova.

Well, if you felt like Stanford was facing the gauntlet schedule-wise, you're not wrong. According to ESPN, the Cardinal have faced the 4th toughest schedule in the country so far by RPI. They have an important stretch of the schedule coming up, as they face #12 Arizona and Arizona State at Maples this week.
