It only took me the past hour to realize that scouring the Internet for any official news on Jim Harbaugh's coaching future, though strangely addicting, is a complete waste of time. There are so many other productive things I could be doing, like watching Stanford recruit James Vaughters in the Under Armour High School All-America Game, or scouring the Internet for the latest speculation on Andrew Luck's future. 

Here's what we know, at least according to a source who spoke on condition of anonymity: Harbaugh was expected to meet with the 49ers today at a secret location. That's it. Perhaps new GM Trent Baalke wanted a scouting report on Virginia Tech quarterback Tyrod Taylor.
