Aaron Bright had a career high 21 points as he and the Cardinal defeated the Bulldogs in the first round of the NIT Tip-Off Tournament.
Tuesday, November 15 Sailing -- Big Sail, 2-0, St. Francis Yacht Club
Stanford sailors cruised to their eighth straight victory over the Bears in the Big Sail Tuesday, setting the stage for the ICSA Sloop Nationals in the same waters starting Friday.
Men's Basketball -- vs. Colorado State, 64-52, Maples Pavilion
Bright and company had to overcome an 11-point deficit in the first half in order to come back and win, allowing the Cardinal to travel to Madison Square Garden over the Thanksgiving break to face Oklahoma State. The comeback was set up in part by a last-second heave in the first half by Gabe Harris.
Thursday, November 17
Women's Basketball -- vs. Old Dominion, 97-48, Maples Pavilion
In a game that saw ODU get a technical foul before tip-off, Nneka and Chiney Ogwumike combined for 27 points, which added to Lindy LaRocque's five three pointers, helped Stanford cruise to a 49 point win in their third game of the season.

Men's Swimming and Diving -- Arena Invite, All Day, Long Beach, CA
Both the men and the women swimmers begin the first day of the Arena invite, taking place in Long Beach, for their final Fall event of the season.
Friday, November 18
Women's Squash -- vs. Harvard, 12PM PST, Williamstown, MA

The squash team heads east for its first matches of the season against Harvard and Hamilton.
Men's Basketball -- @ UC Davis, 7PM PST, Davis, CA
Before heading to New York, the basketball team must head up to Davis to take on the Ags for its fourth regular season game. Women's Volleyball -- vs. Oregon, 7PM, Maples Pavilion
After UCLA lost last weekend, the Stanford women will attempt to keep their conference championship hopes alive beginning with a sweep of the Oregon schools on campus starting Friday night. Women's Soccer -- vs. South Carolina, 7PM, Cagan Stadium
The women continue their quest to the College Cup and the national championship by taking on the Gamecocks at Cagan Friday night for what they hope is the first of two matches on the weekend.

Big Splash happens on the Farm this year as #4 Stanford hopes to upset the Bears in their home pool just before Big Game. This is a ticketed event. Football -- 114th Big Game (vs. Cal), 7:15PM, Stanford Stadium
Stanford and Cal meet for the 114th playing of Big Game at Stanford. Stanford hopes to shake off its worst game of the season against Oregon while Cal strives to provide another upset of their top-10 ranked rivals.

The squash team ends their time at Williams College by taking on Mt. Holyoke in an early morning match.
Wrestling -- vs. Central Michigan, 9AM PST, Chattanooga, TN

The wrestlers travel to the Volunteer State to take on Central Michigan and Chattanooga in a dual-meet. Women's Volleyball -- vs. Oregon State, 1PM, Maples Pavilion
The women close out their weekend with a home match against the Beavers in their penultimate match of the regular season. Women's Soccer -- NCAA Third Round, 1PM, Cagan Stadium
Stanford hosts the third round of the NCAA tournament with the hopes that the Stanford women will have advanced to play on Sunday afternoon.

The divers end their weekend in Tucson on the third day of the Wildcat Diving Invite.

The sailing team hopes to end their Fall season on a good note on the final day of the ICSA Sloop Nationals. The sailors won't see action on the water again until the Rose Bowl Regatta on New Year's Day in Southern California.
