2006 Big Game Program: Cal Avoids Upset at Home
DeSean Jackson caught 7 passes for 127 yards to help No. 21 Cal avoid the upset with a 26-17 win. One day later, the Walt Harris Era was officially over. "What a great job by our young guys today," Harris said after the Cardinal fell to 1-11. "Look at how much better they got throughout the season. I think the future is bright for Stanford because of the improvement of our young guys as the season went on."

I believe...
he was referring to the arsenal of offensive talent we’d amass not five years later.
Walt Harris is basically unemployed now. I would love to know what he is thinking every moment he hears about Stanford football.
