Top-seeded Stanford welcomes No. 9 seed St. John's to Maples Pavilion for an NCAA tournament second round game tonight at 6:40 p.m. PST. The winner advances to the Sweet 16, something the Red Storm has never done.

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 and at ESPN3. As always, you can also listen live at KZSU. Go Stanford!

This game is a LOT closer than you might think

The one good thing about this half so far is that St. John’s doesn’t know how to guard Nneka at the post.

But Stanford is still down by two.

Johnnies coming out with a fight to start the 2nd

Stanford is finally getting it’s groove, though, and the Cardinal is up by ten.

The Ogwimikes have a combined 30 points already.

Just got home to watch.

You called it…closer than I was expecting.

Wow, St. John's has gone freezing cold

I cant remember their last FG. What was a ten point deficit at the half for the Red Storm has turned into a 30 point blowout with seven minutes left in the game.

In a much closer game...

70-64 Zags.

John Stockton in the house to watch Courtney Vandersloot do her thing in Spokane. Will Stanford be the only Pac-10 team standing after tonight?
