Pitchers' duel
Stanford had some shots during a couple of innings when CSU-F’s pitcher lost his control a bit, but could only strand runners.
Then the umps robbed the Titans of a run on a hideously bad call.
Piscotty just smacked a dinger. 1-0, Cardinal.
This reminds me of a Giants game at AT&T.

Haha.
Torture, indeed. Huge spot for Chris Reed here with two outs and a runner on 3rd in the 8th.

Wish Fullerton would change pitchers
This guy is a mystery to Stanford’s hitters (that one smack aside).

How many times can Stanford K
on pitches in the dirt? I can count at least 4 and there were probably more.

Noe Ramirez is pretty filthy.
He K’d more than 1 per inning during the regular season. But yeah, he made some of the Cardinal hitters look silly.

I stand corrected
Wilson would’ve loaded the bases before nailing down the win.

That was relatively drama-free after the pickoff/caught stealing.
Feels good to be 2-0!
