I was going to post about Pac-12 Media Day, but I don't have much more to add. The event featured a dramatic opening video, Chip Kelly wouldn't--fine, couldn't--talk about Willie Lyles, and Jeff Tedford said he'll be more involved in the Cal offense this season. If you missed David Shaw and Andrew Luck's press conference, you can watch it here. You should also check out the previously linked reports at The Daily Axe and the Pac-12 Blog.
The real story of the day, though, was Andrew Luck's beard. No, really. See: here, here, here, here, and here. I mean, we knew the Heisman candidate was a little shaggy at the Manning Passing Academy, but that thing is now officially OUT. OF. CONTROL.
Here's what Luck had to say about it:
"I haven't thought past tomorrow about what to do with it. I'm hesitant to call it a beard. I don't think it's quite there yet."
Oh, it's there. And you shouldn't do anything with it, Andrew. Keep growing that thing. Hide the shaving cream, Griff!
