A win would've put Stanford in position to earn a trip to the Rose Bowl, but the Indians blew a 14-point second half lead and settled for a 21-21 tie. Quarterback Bobby Garrett accounted for two Stanford touchdowns and kicked all three extra points.
As for the cover, I think it looks more like a fashion catalog than a football program.
