1961 Big Game Program: Stanford Gives Curtice First Win Against Cal


Both teams entered the 1961 Big Game riding five-game losing streaks. With the Axe on the line, Stanford stunk a little less than the Bears, winning 20-7 to snap Cal's three-year winning streak in the series.


Jack Curtice didn't have much success at Stanford.
