Yes, yes, yes. A thousand times yes. Check out the handshake that Knicks teammates Landry Fields, a Stanford grad, and Jeremy Lin, a Harvard grad, have created. The Bay Area News Group's Jon Becker calls it "the nerdiest pre-game handshake in league history." It's also the greatest.
The choreographed skit features the two skimming through an imaginary book, taking off their glasses and then placing them inside pocket protectors.
Yes. Lin, who sleeps on his brother's couch, is the current toast of New York. Spike Lee, who fell in love with Fields around this time last year, has dreamed up some nicknames for the first Asian-American to play in the NBA.
Lin has averaged 25 points in his last three games -- all New York wins. Fields is averaging nearly 10 points and 4 rebounds per game this season and was recently named to the Sophomore team for the Rookie/Sophomore challenge at the NBA All-Star Game. His nerdy backcourt mate congratulated him on the honor.
Congrats to @landryfields for making it to the rookie soph game!! Can someone tell me why @i_am_iman not in it???

Update: It's worth mentioning that Lin went to Palo Alto HS.
