Remeber your QB luck...
Luck said unless Oregon is beat in Conference, Oregon is still King of our Conference. And well, the King Does indeed fly South for Winter, as Ducks normally do. We are traveling in force, South, in Flocks upon Flocks. Will be a neat game to see. It could go either way. Both teams match up well in theory and on paper. I have 4 tickets, bought from Stanford Athletics, because Stanford does not have the “Oregon Problem” where Tickets are all sold in the first 3 mins before the season…. I will be sitting in the Stanford sections, yelling my head off, something Stanford fans will never understand…
Don’t get me wrong, I respect Stanford much!!! You have the classiest CFB player in all the country. The kind of guy you would want to see marry your daughter… And your whole team as well! However, Stanford is the last place in fan passion in the PAC, by a country mile, even when running their best season ever. And that is sad. Oregon however is tops in the nation in passionate fans(so says Herby)… Big difference. However it turns out, I am sure UO and Stanford will get a BCS game. UO if we lose, will most likely get the Rose Bowl. And well, I just hope the corrupt SEC gets knocked off, even if it is Stanford that makes it to the title game! The SEC is our real enemy! Not each other!
Oregon has won the last 2 PAC Titles. As luck has said, we are the King and defending champ and all must pass through us. If Stanford wins, they are indeed worthy. And I will be the first to Congrad Stanford!!! And they will have earned it much!!!
I have defended Stanford to the nation for 2 straight years now. 99 percent of the time, no Stanford fans existed on such national blogs repping Stanford, but us Ducks did, for you and how good you really are. Stanford fans really need to back off the chest pride, and chest pumps, and give UO our due. We have demolished our Conference for many years now. Stanford has been great, but yet not had to face LSU or Auburn… And well, any signs of not knowing the obvious, who the super power is in our great Conference of Champions is pathetic. UO is the 2 time defending King of our Conference and all who suggest UO is pathetic really need to get clue… However if you beat us, you will also gain the support and rooting on of every single Duck fan nationally. And lets face reality, UO has the most rabid and vocal fans. Show some class, like your QB, Luck.
Lets have a civil affair, in the REAL game of the century and not the joke LSU-Bama game…. Stanford-Oregon, It does not get much better then this. Whoever wins, much deserving such shall they be…And if Luck and company wins, I for surly will be the first person to Congrat Stanford!
If you are indeed a avid CFB fan, much less a PAC fan, this game, our game, cannot get sweeter then this! I have much respect for Stanford. I am hoping in my tailgate much class will be shown via Stanford. We shall see…And to the Winner, whoever it is, they earned it greatly!!!

Sigh...
… if you measure fan passion by the fact that very few Stanford fans join the cast of mouth breathers that generate most of the traffic on national boards like ESPN or Yahoo, I think you might be barking up the wrong tree. I’d probably take that as a point of pride rather than as a problem.
As for giving UO its due… they are good, there is no question about it. Will Stanford prevail on Saturday? I have no idea… I hope so, but we’ll just have to see what happens on the field.

Well, this post is interesting
“However, Stanford is the last place in fan passion in the PAC, by a country mile, even when running their best season ever”
And Oregon fans, along with Washington fans, have the reputation for being the most classless fans in the conference, by a mile. Not sure this post does much to change that impression
As for the chest pumping…many Oregon fans seem to think that any Stanford fan who doesnt feel like we have absolutely no shot of beating Oregon is “thumping their chest” or not giving Oregon due respect. I have seen very few fans who are predicting an easy win or thinking that a win is guaranteed. We all know its a huge challenge. But we also feel like we have some advantages on our side that give us a good chance. I’m sure Duck fans do as well.
