Cross Country - Notre Dame Invitational (Men only), 11AM PT, South Bend, IN
One week after winning their own invitational in California, Chris Derrick and the men's cross country team travel to South Bend for the Notre Dame Invitational.
Men's Soccer - @ San Diego State, 1:30PM PT, San Diego, CA
The men begin Pac-12 play this weekend hoping to continue their win streak after getting their first weekend sweep last week against Harvard and Vermont.
Women's Swimming and Diving - vs. San Jose State, 2PM, Avery Aquatic Center
Head Coach Lea Maurer leads out a very talented women's team for their first meet of the season against the Spartans. This marks the first official event at Avery for the school year.
Women's Soccer - @ Washington State, 3PM PT, Pullman, WA
The women take their 10-game conference undefeated streak to Pullman for a chance to go to 2-0-0 in conference play for the third time in three years.
Women's Lacrosse - vs. Cal, 5:30PM, Stanford Practice Field
Stanford begins its fall scrimmages in an unusual venue -- the football practice field next to Maples. This is the first of two games this fall on campus.
Women's Volleyball - vs. ASU, 7PM, Maples Pavilion
After a weekend that saw Stanford get swept by both SoCal schools, Stanford dropped four places in the AVCA poll and hopes to regain its footing against a slower Sun Devil team.
Field Hockey - vs. Robert Morris, 7PM, Varsity Field Hockey Turf
Coming off a weekend sweep against Cal and UC Davis, Stanford hopes to find its ninth win of the season in its only home game of the week.
Saturday, October 1
Men's Swimming and Diving - @ UC Santa Cruz, 10AM PT, Santa Cruz, CA
Coming off a win in Baton Rouge where the freshman dominated the meet, Stanford travels down Highway 17 to take on the Banana Slugs for their second meet of the season.
Football - vs. UCLA, 7:30PM, Stanford Stadium
The Cardinal return to action for their first game with the student body on campus (and without defensive stalwart Shayne Skov) after their bye week by taking on a Bruin team that is still trying to find successes.
Men's Water Polo - @ SoCal Tournament (vs. Princeton), 10:40AM, Long Beach, CA; (vs. Pepperdine or Long Beach State @ TBD time depending on result vs. Princeton)
After a disappointing fourth place finish in the NorCal tournament in Stockton, Stanford hopes to rebound against their first East Coast opponent of the year in Princeton. Note that GoStanford.com has the incorrect time on its website listed as a late-night match -- the match will take place in the morning.
Sailing - @ Danmark Trophy, TBA, New London, CT; @ TS Stern Match Race, TBA, Charleston, SC; Bryson Women's, TBA, Stanford, CA; @ Hinman Trophy US Team Race Nationals, TBA, Houston, TX
After a spectacular weekend that saw both the men and the women go 1-2-3 in the PCCSC Singlehandeds, the crews split up to various parts of the U.S. with the qualifiers from the PCCSC Singlehandeds competing in Houston while the rest of the team will either compete in Connecticut, California, or South Carolina.

Elle Logan and the women's crew team heads east to compete in their first competition of the year in Oklahoma City.

Women's Soccer - @ Washington, 12PM PT, Seattle, WA
The women travel across the state of Washington to take on a Washington team hoping to improve their resume for postseason play.
Women's Volleyball - vs. Arizona, 1PM, Maples Pavilion
The women hope to go for a weekend sweep against a Wildcat team that has been creeping up in the conference and national rankings.
Men's Soccer - @ UCLA, 1PM, Los Angeles, CA
The Cardinal take on a dangerous UCLA team that, while at 5-3-1, is looking to tear through the Pac-12 for another deep run in the postseason.

Sailing competitions wrap up today with Stanford hoping to capitalize on their previous weekend's sweeps.

Depending on the results of the previous day, Stanford hopes to finish and return back to campus with the SoCal Tournament championship in hand.
