Re: Upset alert
Does that mean you’re predicting a Cal win? The Huskies opened as massive 1 pt. favorites in a game that I’d guess neither fanbase has any idea what will actually happen.

Yes
But Cal seems to have historic trouble in Seattle, even given their successes from 2002-2006. Since then, Cal has only beaten the Huskies once, in their 0-12 2008 season at Memorial. Even given the 1-point differential on betting, Cal doesn’t have momentum on its side when looking at how recent Washington-Cal games have gone, no matter who won last week. If you look at the other games, they’re either really close that it’s a toss-up as to who wins (OSU/UCLA. ASU/USC) or so one-sided that you can’t envision almost any scenario where the underdog wins in an upset (CU/Ohio State, UA/UO).
Plus an upset is still an upset.

Cal seems to have historic trouble in Seattle
I have to thank you for choosing such soft and measured words here. You could have said “Cal has a history of shitting the bed in Seattle” or “Cal has a history of embarrassing themselves, their fans, and the state of California in Seattle” and both would have been equally appropriate.

re: Must win: UCLA @ Oregon State Beavers
if we lose, it might be get the hook time. Though I don’t think there is anyone out there except Urban and the Pirate (though some of our players could use some shed time).
