Predict The Stanford-UCLA Score, Win a Sticker
Do you like stickers? Andrew Luck likes stickers. (His helmet tells me so.) Predict the score of Saturday's UCLA-Stanford game in the comments and you could win a Live Tree or Die bumper sticker. I'll put stickers in the mail for the three closest predictions and will offer my own guess a little later today. To be clear, voting in the poll is a separate exercise. To be eligible to win, predict an exact score in the comments.
Live Tree or Die t-shirts are available for $18.91 and $13.91 in the Rule of Tree shop. If you order today, you should receive your shirt in time for the Colorado game. Go Stanford!

Going for the full shutout with the Cardinal D making a statement after the loss of Skov.

I dig it.
As of now, you and CardiGirl are guaranteed to win no matter the score.

Offense dominates, Defense tested
42-21. I think Stanford scores at will, but UCLA will find some cracks and the new guys will be finding their legs in the defense.

Stanford 43, UCLA 16
If the prediction proves accurate, I will reveal my secret formula.
If not, I’ll toss it into the trash bin.

OK, here it is
Stanford = 197/5 = 39.4
UCLA = 124/6 = 20.6
Adjust for level of competition. Here I added a field goal to Stanford’s predicted total. I frankly don’t remember why I knocked 5 points off of UCLA. If they’d made their PATs 21 would’ve been right on the money.
At this point, though, no one will go back and read this (except maybe Scott) and it will remain secret…for what that’s worth.

Oops
I deleted a critical piece of info before posting:
That is, the numbers are derived by averaging the total points scored by each team in their games this season plus the previous two games against each other. Then adjust for level of competition etc.
