Andrew Luck vs. Coby Fleener: Which One-Handed Catch Was Better?
Andrew Luck and Coby Fleener each made spectacular one-handed grabs in last night's 45-19 rout of UCLA. Which one-mitt wonder was more impressive?
Fleener's grab was a thing of beauty, but I'm voting for Luck because catching footballs isn't in his job description and he was glove-less.

Luck's was fun...
… but I have to go with Fleener - seeing the replay on TV you don’t get a sense for just how fast Luck threw that ball to him. He had no business making that catch.
Kinda awesome to have so many great highlights that we have to choose like this though, isn’t it?

Luck
Both amazing grabs, but I go with Luck. He had to get the foot down and he did it without the aid of a sticky glove

Glove vs. No Glove
I think that was the deciding factor for me. Lester Hayes wouldn’t need stickum if he had had gloves like the ones that players wear today. That said, Fleener’s catch was pretty awesome.

Fleener
If nothing but because it was a beautiful catch after a beautiful throw. The no glove factor does put a nice degree of difficulty onto it, but Fleener’s was just pure beauty.
But it’s pretty clear which one will make the Heisman promo reel! Does Robert Griffin III have any one handed receptions? I didn’t think so! (although that guy is a beast and if he keeps up this rate, I wouldn’t be shocked if he got an invite to NYC, let alone win the award.)
